Bomb Hag, More Glee

So. Went to the wedding on my birthday. Here are highlights:

1) A gay man I don't know told me I had a "bomb" body. A couple things about that -
  • It's been at least 5 years since I've heard anyone call anything bomb. Glad the rebirth of that in my life had to do with me looking crazy hot.
  • Any good hag can tell you, a compliment from a gay man to a woman is the HOLY GRAIL of all compliments. They don't want to have sex with you, like straight men do, and they aren't being backhanded because they don't feel competitive with you, like women do. There is no better feeling than receiving a compliment from a gay man, because you know it's not a lie, and you know they know what they're talking about.
  • I think that was my birthday present from the universe - 31 is the new black?
So, with confidence gained from a strange gay man - here's me and my "bomb" body all dressed up for the wedding.

2) It really was a beautiful affair. And so diverse! I swear every ethnicity under the sun was represented there, I shit you not. My husband was not being very cooperative about the posing for pictures, so below is a video of him dancing with the bride (Jessi Girl!) - and a lil selfie of us. Is that still a selfie, if it's of 2 people? Anyway -

3) I may have mentioned (once or twice) my current resounding and lasting sadness over Cory Monteith's (Finn from Glee) death. So I've been watching a lot of Glee - and trying to get my husband into it, which, by the way, has been quite an uphill battle - and he agreed to watch it on my phone on the way home for our 2 hour drive (probably to make up for the fact I'd be driving). Well, he passed out. And right now I'm playing episode #1 to try and get him to invest in the characters - he's drawing in his journal. Whatever, I'll keep trying.

I have no idea how else to rap this up, so here are some more pics of Cory. Cause, ya know, still sad and it's my blog so I do what I want.
